Our Background
Olympic Analytical Service was founded in 1993 by Glen Harnden. Prior to this, Glen was the Service Manager at Ciba Corning Analytical but left following the company’s takeover in 1992. After the acquisition, he saw customer support being scaled back and a growing shift toward a “replace rather than repair” approach — something he strongly disagreed with.
Since day one, Olympic Analytical Service has been committed to keeping instrumentation reliable and cost-effective. We do this by offering comprehensive maintenance packages, fast call-out response times, and by holding a wide range of spare parts for the instruments we support.

Based in Malvern, Worcestershire, we are a small but highly experienced business dedicated to providing professional, dependable service. With over 100 years of combined industry experience, our engineers bring a depth of knowledge, technical expertise and practical understanding that ensures every instrument we handle is in capable hands.
